Madrid Urban Real Estate is a boutique property agency specializing in high-end residential and commercial listings across the Spanish capital. Catering to an international clientele of investors and expatriates, the agency prides itself on deep local market knowledge and a personalized approach to property acquisition. They operate in a high-demand urban environment where digital discovery is the primary entry point for global buyers seeking a foothold in the Madrid market.
Real estate in Madrid is a competitive, international market. Buyers and renters come from across Europe and beyond, searching in multiple languages, on multiple devices, with high expectations of the digital experience. Madrid Urban needed a website that could handle property listings at scale while still feeling premium and personal. Generic real estate templates were everywhere — they needed something that communicated the character of the city and the quality of their service.
We designed for the international buyer first. The UI was built around search and discovery — making it easy to filter by neighbourhood, type, price, and lifestyle. The visual design needed to reflect the character of Madrid: warm, confident, and contemporary. We spent time understanding the different types of buyers using the site — investors, relocators, second-home seekers — and built the experience to serve all of them without feeling cluttered.
The property listing system was built as a custom solution — flexible enough to handle sales, rentals, and commercial properties with different data structures. Each listing page was designed to tell a story, not just list specifications. Professional photography, neighbourhood context, and clear calls to action guided serious buyers toward enquiry. SEO was built into the architecture from the start — location-specific pages, structured data for property listings, and a content strategy targeting international buyers searching for Madrid property. Maintenance and performance monitoring kept the site running smoothly as inventory grew. We also implemented a saved search and alert system, giving buyers a reason to return without being prompted.
International enquiries increased substantially after launch. The site began appearing in search results for English, German, and French language property searches. The client reported that the quality of incoming leads improved — visitors were arriving more informed and more serious. The custom listings system gave the internal team full control over their inventory without relying on external platforms that ate into their margins.
