Client Overview

Abdi Design is a bespoke automotive studio specializing in the artisanal redesign of luxury vehicle interiors. Operating at the pinnacle of the automotive aftermarket, the brand serves high-net-worth individuals and collectors who view their vehicles as canvases for personal expression. This is a “high-consideration” business where the sales cycle is long and the digital presence must act as a virtual gallery, showcasing microscopic attention to detail and a mastery of rare materials.

The Challenge

Abdi Design creates bespoke car interiors — an incredibly niche offering that demanded a website as precise and considered as their craft. Their clientele expects excellence before they’ve even made contact. A generic portfolio site wouldn’t cut it. The work itself was extraordinary — the challenge was building a digital experience that could communicate that level of craft to someone encountering the brand for the very first time.

Our Approach

We approached this as a design showcase first and a business website second. Every element needed to feel as premium as the interiors they produce. The photography, the layout, the typography — everything had to communicate mastery. We worked closely with Abdi to understand how his best clients had discovered him and what had convinced them to make contact — then built the site to replicate that experience at scale.

What We Have Done

The site was built around the work. Full-bleed imagery, slow-scroll sections that allowed details to register, and a restrained colour palette that never competed with the craftsmanship on display. Project pages were designed to tell the story of each commission — the brief, the materials, the process, and the result. The contact and commission enquiry flow was kept deliberately simple — this is a high-consideration purchase, and the site’s job was to qualify and inspire, not to push for an immediate decision. A private gallery section was built for sharing in-progress work with clients confidentially — a small feature that immediately became one of the most valued parts of the site.

Results

Enquiries from the right kind of client — high-value commissions with long lead times — increased after launch. The site became a central part of Abdi Design’s pitch process, shared by the founder in early conversations with prospective clients. The private gallery feature strengthened ongoing client relationships and reduced the back-and-forth that had previously happened over email.
